getting too old and can't compete with the best.The Spurs aren't listening to the critics, as they blew out the Lakers on Jan. 12 and last night they blew out another "elite team" as well/The firstquarter was bad for the Hawks, as they were pounded and trounced throughout the opening quarter. Around the 5:50 mark the Spurs went on a big 20-9 run, making the Hawks look like the Hawks of old.The secondquarter was not as bad as the first, but it was another blow out. However, the Hawks were able to prevent the Spurs from going on a huge run like they did earlier.Atlanta made a run in the third quarter, as they were able to narrow the deficit to 12. The Hawks won fourth quarter as well, cutting the lead to nine at one point in the final quarter. Hawks never really had a chance to get back into the contest.San Antonio point guard Tony Parker only was able to net 10 points, but Duncan, Hill, and McDyess helped out the Spursscoring 21, 16, and 17 points respectively. Joe Johnson had 31 points in the game for Atlanta and Jamal Crawford finished with 25. Josh Smith struggled throughout and finished with only 14, while Williams had 10, Horfordhad four, and Bibby was held scoreless.
